Behavioral Intelligence

Fish behavior is one of the earliest and most reliable indicators of what's happening beneath the surface, often showing up long before water chemistry or growth metrics reveal a problem. Continuous observation of movement patterns, spatial distribution, and activity levels across a population turns raw video into quantifiable behavioral signals. Operators gain a real-time read on how their stock is actually doing, not just a snapshot from the last manual check.

Phenotyping

Every fish carries visible information about its growth trajectory, health, and genetic line, information that's traditionally been expensive and slow to collect at scale. High-fidelity imagery makes it possible to measure body condition, fin health, and physical traits across individuals and cohorts, giving hatcheries and breeding programs objective data to compare family lines and select for the traits that matter most to their operation.

Welfare Detection

Early signs of stress or declining welfare are often subtle, showing up as a shift in swimming pattern, unusual clustering, or reduced surfacing behavior that's easy to miss during routine visual checks. Continuous monitoring of behavioral baselines flags deviations as they emerge, giving operators the lead time to intervene before a welfare issue becomes a biomass loss.

How a population responds to feeding, how quickly, how uniformly, how intensely, is a direct signal of appetite, health, and environmental conditions. Tracking feeding response in real time helps operators fine-tune feeding schedules and quantities to reduce waste and identify when a population's appetite has changed before it becomes a bigger problem.

Multimodal Monitoring

Combining synchronized video, acoustic sensing, and environmental data (temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, and TDS) on one timeline lets operators see how behavior, water quality, and sound correlate in real time.
